The 10th edition of Panorama Europe Film Festival, brings together a vibrant selection of some of the finest films coming out of Europe today, including award-winning filmmakers, premieres, diverse audiences, and the industry together in New York City.


The Festival takes place at  the Museum of the Moving Image and Bohemian National Hall. Czech Center New York specially has organized four rooftop screenings at the BNH, including the festival’s closing night program, which will include the presentation of the newly restorated Czech classic Case for the New Hangman

Case for the New Hangman. Czechoslovakia. Dir. Pavel Juracek. 1969. DCP. With Lubomir Kostelka, Klara Jernekova, Milena Zahrynowska. Situates the Prague Spring in the realm of the surreal.

5 October, Slovakia/Czech Republic. Dir. Martin Kollar, 2016. Martin Kollar capturing his dying brother’s final cross-continental bicycle journey.

Silent Night, Poland. Dir. Piotr Domalewski. 2017, With Dawid Ogrodnik, Tomasz Zietek, Arkadiusz Jakubik. Raw, tragicomic Christmas tale which won Best Film, Director, Script, and Actor at this year’s Polish Film Awards.
